Alexis Segal

President

Alexis Segal

President

Alexis Segal has been with IDT for 16 years and currently serves as President of IDT Global. He leads the global team, with responsibility for performance targets, team management, and exploring new products and business opportunities.

Alexis began his career at IDT managing the Latin American team, building partnerships with mobile network operators across the region, experience that continues to shape his approach to global carrier relationships today.

He holds a business degree and a postgraduate qualification in management. Outside of work, Alexis is an avid fan of padel and football, supporting River Plate and the Argentine national team.

Tony Davidson

Tony Davidson

EVP – Voice & Operations

Tony Davidson has been with IDT for 25 years and currently plays a key leadership role within the wholesale business.

He began his career in 1990 as a commercial banker before moving into media as Director of Finance for a satellite television company. Since joining IDT, Tony has held senior roles across finance, corporate development, technology, and operations. He is responsible for a broad range of functions essential to the wholesale business, including rates and codes administration, routing, customer support, account information management, reporting, and systems development, areas critical to our success. Tony holds an MBA from Cornell University.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, baseball, and being a father.

Ioannis Farazis is Vice President of Carrier Finance at IDT global and has been with the company since 2002. He began his career at IDT managing dispute resolution for Carrier Services and has since taken on broader responsibilities across finance and operations. Over time, he has led the development and integration of key financial processes across multiple lines of business, supporting the company’s global scale and product expansion.

A key achievement in Ioannis’s career has been the global consolidation of systems and financial operations for Carrier Services, a critical step in aligning finance functions with strategic growth. In his current role, Ioannis is responsible for managing resources and financial risk, ensuring that finance operations support organisational goals across IDT global. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Illinois.

Outside of work, Ioannis enjoys sports and staying active through regular exercise.

Alessandro Frigerio

Alessandro Frigerio

VP Business Development Global

Alessandro Frigerio is Vice President of Business Development at IDT global and has been with the company since 2008. He began his career at IDT global as an Account Manager for voice services, later moving into roles across top-up and business development. Over the years, he has taken on increasing regional responsibility, from Southern Europe to EMEA, and now leads global business development activities across multiple product lines.

During his time at IDT global, Alessandro has played a key role in expanding the company’s global footprint. He has connected over 180 voice customers, including more than 35 mobile network operators, and was instrumental in launching the A2P SMS division, bringing on over 100 partners across more than 30 MNOs. He also helped secure major retail agreements in Europe for IDT’s top-up services. In his current role, Alessandro supports teams across voice, A2P SMS, money transfer, and digital products, identifying new opportunities and driving cross-product synergies with global customers. He holds a degree in Economics.

Outside of work, Alessandro enjoys cooking, basketball, riding his motorbike, and playing padel.

Sarah-Jayne Birshan

VP Carrier Services Americas

Sarah-Jayne Birshan is Vice President of Carrier Services for the Americas at IDT Global, where she has worked for over 16 years. She began her career at IDT in the UK, later relocating to the company’s New Jersey headquarters. Prior to joining the telecom industry, she worked at renowned auction houses Christie’s and Bonhams. Since joining IDT, she has built deep industry expertise and continues to adapt to the evolving challenges of the telecommunications space.

Her proudest professional achievement to date is taking on leadership of the Americas region — heading up an experienced, high-performing team and supporting partners across the continent. In her current role, Sarah-Jayne focuses on increasing traffic, combating fraud and bypass, and identifying new commercial opportunities such as top-up and money transfer services. She holds a degree in History of Art from University College London.

Outside of work, Sarah-Jayne enjoys travelling, visiting art galleries, and spending time with her two young sons. She has a passion for art appreciation and regularly attends Art Basel in Miami.

Chiara Ferraro

Chiara Ferraro is Director of SMS Sales & Strategic Partnerships at IDT global and joined the company in 2021. With over 25 years of experience in telecoms, Chiara began her career in the calling card space before moving into voice, where she spent the majority of her professional life, including several years at one of Europe’s largest mobile network operators.

Six years ago, she began shifting her focus to messaging, and fully transitioned into SMS when she joined IDT global. Since then, she has helped build the company’s presence in this growing segment, leading the sales team and establishing strong strategic partnerships in the early years of IDT’s SMS business. Earlier in her career, Chiara played a key role in building the international department at a major European MNO and led a successful voice team for many years. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in International Relations.

Outside of work, Chiara enjoys travelling, shopping, and all things beauty-related.

Greg Henderson

Director of Enterprise Sales

Greg Henderson joined IDT global in 2023 and leads the enterprise sales team, bringing nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of telecom sales and technology.

Prior to joining IDT global, Greg held senior roles at Kaleyra and tyntec, where he was instrumental in expanding business across the Americas and Africa. He has built a career focused on enterprise communications, developing major partnerships with MNOs, OTTs, and global enterprises. At IDT global, Greg is responsible for onboarding and supporting enterprise clients, driving revenue growth, and sourcing high-quality connectivity solutions. He combines commercial insight with deep technical expertise in network infrastructure, IT systems, and contract negotiation to create long-term value for customers and partners. Greg holds multiple certifications in Information Technology.

Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, football, and playing padel. A keen traveller, he has visited 68 countries and more than 300 cities around the world.

Nuno Oliveira

Nuno Oliveira

Director of Market Makers

Nuno Oliveira has been with IDT for over 24 years and currently leads the global Market Maker team. He began his telecoms career 26 years ago in carrier services and sales, before joining Net2Phone to build its wholesale operations from the ground up. Following the merger with IDT, Nuno took on roles in strategic analysis and market development.

He has played a key role in transitioning IDT’s carrier operations to a Market Maker model, improving efficiency, speed and regional knowledge. He also drives automation and business process improvements to help maintain strong performance in the voice sector. Nuno studied Computer Science and Business at Rutgers/NJIT.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking with his three children, PC gaming, and collecting Lego sets as a family hobby.

Danijel Muranovic is an experienced operations leader currently in his fifth year with IDT global.

He began his career 15 years ago as a Junior Account Manager and has since held a range of leadership roles including Country Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Director. Throughout his career, Danijel has played a key role in opening new markets, securing major clients, and driving revenue growth. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams that deliver results. At IDT global, Danijel focuses on optimising operational processes, implementing cross-training programmes, and ensuring the team is equipped with the tools and support they need to succeed.

Outside of work, he is passionate about real estate investment and football, both as a player and a fan.
