IDT global, a leading provider of wholesale voice and SMS termination, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Claro Uruguay to deliver direct A2P SMS termination to Claro subscribers in the country.
Under the terms of the agreement, IDT global will send both its own retail traffic and wholesale A2P SMS traffic to the Claro network, giving customers the quality and reliability that only a direct, zero-hop connection can deliver.

The new agreement is the latest expansion in IDT global’s SMS business. IDT global now has nearly 100 direct SMS interconnections with mobile network operators across the globe, enabling the company to deliver the quality and reliability that its customers demand.
